Saudi Arabia's Falcon Vision Group is considering investments of up to $10 billion in Pakistan, with the government pledging full support to facilitate foreign investors.
The commitment emerged during a meeting between Federal Minister for the Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh and a high-level delegation led by Muhammad Tariq Ghaus, Vice Chairman and President of Jeddah-based Falcon Vision Group.
The delegation said Saudi investors are actively evaluating opportunities across multiple sectors, including infrastructure, construction, technology, and industry, with potential investments worth up to $10 billion.
Sheikh welcomed the interest, describing it as a vote of confidence in Pakistan's investment climate. He highlighted incentives available in Special Economic Zones (SEZs), including income tax exemptions until 2035, duty concessions on imported machinery, and one-window Business Facilitation Centres to streamline investment procedures.
The minister also reiterated that Pakistan allows 100% repatriation of profits and offers equal treatment to domestic and foreign investors, while noting that the government is working to reduce energy costs and remove administrative bottlenecks.
The delegation also discussed plans for a Special Technology Zone and a modern shopping mall project in Chakwal, as the government seeks to attract greater foreign direct investment.
