Pakistan received $3.47 billion in workers’ remittances in June 2026, marking a 2% year-on-year increase but an 18% month-on-month decline as inflows normalized after elevated pre-Eid remittances in May.
The monthly decline was driven by lower inflows from the GCC (-20%), U.K. (-20%), U.S. (-15%), and other regions (-13%). On an annual basis, however, remittances were supported by stronger inflows from the GCC (+5%) and the U.S. (+6%).
Cumulatively, workers’ remittances rose 8.6% YoY to $41.58 billion in FY26.
