Oil prices extended their gains for a fourth straight session on Wednesday as markets reacted to mixed signals from Tehran and Washington over the status of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
Brent crude futures rose 69 cents, or 0.8%, to $91.71 per barrel by 0415 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude gained 76 cents, or 0.9%, to $85.70 a barrel.
