Nishat Mills Limited (NML) has entered into an agreement with EBR Energy Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited, Sungrow Power Supply Co. Ltd., China, and Pragmatic Engineering Solutions FZE for the development of a 20MW solar power plant along with a 35MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
The project will be installed at NML’s plants located in Bekhi and Ferozwatwan Sheikhupura-Faisalabad Road.
According to the company’s disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) dated September 23, 2026, the solar and battery storage project is expected to be operational by March 2027.
Nishat Mills said the agreement covers the supply and erection of the 20MW solar plant and 35MWh BESS, aimed at strengthening its on-site energy infrastructure.
