Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited (LOTCHEM) has announced that it has entered into a share purchase agreement with Engro Corporation Limited to acquire approximately 510.7 million shares of Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited.
The acquisition represents around 56.19% of Engro Polymer’s issued and paid-up ordinary share capital. The agreed purchase price is Rs38.60 per share.
The transaction remains subject to the fulfillment of certain terms and conditions, including receipt of regulatory approvals and other customary requirements.
Lotte Chemical Pakistan disclosed the development to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
