The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) collected Rs3,066 billion during the first quarter of FY2026-27, exceeding its quarterly target of Rs3,053 billion by Rs13 billion.
According to provisional FBR data, tax collection in September stood above Rs1,344 billion, slightly surpassing the monthly target of Rs1,343 billion.
The latest figures reflect the tax authority’s collection and enforcement efforts during the July-September period, with administrative measures contributing to the overall performance.
