SE Fruits and Vegetables Ltd has secured approval from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to proceed with its initial public offering (IPO), through which the horticulture exporter plans to raise between Rs1.2 billion and Rs1.92 billion.

The company intends to use the proceeds primarily to meet working capital requirements and expand its processing and export operations.

Under the IPO, SE Fruits and Vegetables will offer 30 million ordinary shares, equivalent to 32.01% of its post-IPO paid-up capital, at a floor price of Rs40 per share.

Through the book-building process, the share price could increase by up to 60%, reaching a maximum of Rs64 per share.

Of the total offering, 22.5 million shares will be offered through book building, while the remaining 7.5 million shares will be reserved for general investors.

Based in Sargodha, the company has been involved in the export of kinno, mangoes and potatoes since 1998, with its products reaching markets across the Middle East, Far East, South Asia and Central Asia.

The IPO marks an expansion phase for the company as it seeks additional capital to strengthen its processing infrastructure and increase its export capacity.
