The book-building portion of SE Fruits and Vegetable Limited’s IPO was fully subscribed within two hours of opening on Monday, reflecting strong demand for the offering.
Bidding will remain open until September 22, with the final strike price to be determined after completion of the book-building process.
The company is offering 30 million ordinary shares, equivalent to 32.01% of its post-IPO paid-up capital. The IPO carries a floor price of Rs40 per share, while the final strike price can rise by up to 60% to Rs64 per share, depending on investor demand.
At the floor price, the company is expected to raise at least Rs1.20 billion, while proceeds could reach Rs1.92 billion if the strike price reaches the upper limit.
Of the total offering, 22.5 million shares, or 75%, are being offered through the book-building process. The remaining 7.5 million shares, or 25%, will be offered to the general public on September 28 and 29.
Topline Securities Limited and Growth Securities Limited are serving as joint lead managers for the IPO.
The proceeds will mainly be used to strengthen the company’s working capital, enabling larger seasonal procurement, higher processing capacity and increased export activity amid growing international demand.
Based in Sargodha and previously operating as Shaheen Enterprises, SE Fruits and Vegetable has nearly three decades of operating history. The company exports kinnow, mangoes, potatoes and other agricultural products to more than 22 countries.
