Petrol Price Cut by Rs1.70, HSD Increased by Rs1.39 per Litre

The federal government has reduced the petrol price by Rs1.70 per litre while increasing the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs1.39 per litre, effective August 12.

Under the revised petroleum prices, petrol now costs Rs325.92 per litre, down from Rs327.62, while HSD rises to Rs382.25 per litre from Rs380.86.

The revisions were made following the latest review by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) under the government’s petroleum pricing mechanism, taking into account international oil prices and other cost factors.
