Separately, Pakistan’s National Food Security Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain and Belarusian officials explored collaboration in agricultural technology, food security and trade. Both sides agreed to facilitate business-to-business meetings and participation in trade fairs covering seafood, fruits, vegetables, seeds and dairy products.
The two countries also agreed to expand cooperation in fish farming, exchange agricultural expertise and facilitate seed exports.
Pakistan proposed establishing a universal agricultural machinery testing facility at the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council with Belarusian technical and financial support. The two sides will assess the proposal and arrange technical expert exchanges by the end of 2026.
