Khaadi Pakistan Ltd., the fashion retail arm of Weaves Corp., is reportedly preparing to launch an initial public offering (IPO) next month to raise funds for expanding its retail network.
According to the report, the company is targeting proceeds of between Rs6.2 billion and Rs8.3 billion through the offering.
Khaadi is primarily focused on the Pakistani market and also has operations in the UAE, UK and US. Its parent company, Weaves Corp., has the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as a minority shareholder.
Arif Habib Ltd. is serving as financial adviser for the proposed transaction, according to the report.
The planned listing comes as activity in Pakistan’s capital market continues to increase, with several recent IPOs attracting investor attention and supporting new listing activity on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
