Business Facilitation Centre Supports Rs6.6bn Investment and 20,000 Jobs

The federal government has facilitated the launch of more than 4,100 new businesses through the Business Facilitation Centre (BFC), attracting over Rs6.6 billion in investment and generating more than 20,000 employment opportunities.

 

Federal Minister for the Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh shared the figures while reviewing the BFC’s performance during its first year. He said the centre is focused on promoting business activity, improving the investment environment and supporting job creation across the country.

 

The BFC recorded 8,554 visitors during the year, reflecting growing demand for its services. The highest number of applications was received in December 2025, with 1,288 submissions, followed by 1,264 in January and 859 in July.

 

The centre operates as a one-window platform, providing entrepreneurs and investors with information, guidance and access to relevant government services without requiring repeated visits to different government departments.

 

According to the minister, this approach is helping reduce administrative delays, save time and simplify procedures for businesses.

 

Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh said improving the ease of doing business remains a key government priority, with efforts focused on enabling both domestic and foreign investors to establish, operate and expand businesses in Pakistan more efficiently.
