Bestway Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Geely Auto Group, one of China's largest privately owned automotive manufacturers, to distribute and assemble Geely vehicles in Pakistan.
Under the agreement, Bestway Group's subsidiary, Bestway Automotive (Private) Limited, will serve as the exclusive authorised distributor of Geely Auto products in Pakistan, marking a significant step in the country's automotive sector.
As part of the partnership, Geely vehicles will initially be introduced to the Pakistani market as Completely Built Units (CBUs), providing customers with early access to the company's global vehicle lineup. The companies plan to subsequently begin local assembly at Bestway's existing automotive manufacturing facility in Karachi.
The collaboration is expected to develop into a long-term partnership focused on increasing localisation, strengthening Pakistan's automotive supply chain, promoting skills development, and creating employment opportunities.
The agreement was formally signed during a ceremony at Geely Auto Group's headquarters in Hangzhou, China, marking the official launch of the strategic partnership between the two companies.
