The book-building process for SE Fruits and Vegetable Ltd’s initial public offering (IPO) has concluded at a strike price of Rs40 per share, with investor demand reaching 1.6 times the shares offered.

The book-building portion was fully subscribed within two hours of opening on Monday, according to the company, indicating strong participation from institutional and high-net-worth investors.

SE Fruits and Vegetable is offering 30 million ordinary shares, equivalent to 32.01% of its post-IPO paid-up capital. At the Rs40 strike price, the IPO is expected to raise Rs1.20 billion.

Of the total offering, 22.5 million shares, or 75%, were allocated to the book-building portion. This segment will generate approximately Rs900 million at the final strike price.

The remaining 7.5 million shares, representing 25% of the issue, will be offered to the general public at Rs40 per share on September 28 and 29. The public offering is expected to raise a further Rs300 million.

Topline Securities Ltd and Growth Securities Ltd are serving as joint lead managers for the issue.

SE Fruits and Vegetable plans to use the IPO proceeds primarily to strengthen its working capital, supporting the operations of its export-oriented, Shariah-compliant business.
