Chenab Limited has announced that its Board of Directors has approved a proposal to sell several non-core assets, subject to approval from the company’s secured creditors.
The decision was taken at a Board meeting held on September 9, 2026, at the company’s registered office in Faisalabad. The assets proposed for sale include:
Weaving Unit: Comprising 197 kanals, 16 marlas, along with buildings, plant and machinery, located at Chak No. 44 R.B., Tehsil Shorkot, District Nankana Sahib.
Land and Buildings: A unit comprising 16 kanals, 13 marlas, including buildings, situated at Chak No. 191 R.B., Jhumra Road, Gatti, Faisalabad.
Open Plots: Total area of 4 kanals and 2.5 sarsahi, located outside the Main Unit in Nashtabad, Faisalabad.
Chenab Limited stated that these assets are not related to its core business and therefore their disposal is not expected to affect the company’s operational capacity.
