JDW Sugar Mills Joins Consortium for FESCO Privatisation Bid

JDW Sugar Mills Limited has decided to join a consortium led by Pakgen Limited to participate in the privatisation process of Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO).
 
The consortium will amend its Statement of Qualification submitted to the Privatisation Commission for participation in the transaction. The proposed consortium comprises 10 members, including Pakgen Limited, Nishat Mills Limited, Lalpir Limited, Nishat Power Limited, Nishat Chunian Power Limited, Kohinoor Energy Limited, Pak Elektron Limited, JDW Sugar Mills Limited, Deharki Sugar Mills (Private) Limited and ATF Agri Sciences (Private) Limited.
 
JDW Sugar Mills clarified that, as of the disclosure date, it has not assumed any binding obligation in connection with the proposed transaction.
 
The company’s participation remains subject to pre-qualification by the Privatisation Commission, along with all required corporate and regulatory approvals.
 
JDW Sugar Mills said it will continue to inform the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) about any material developments related to the proposed FESCO privatisation transaction.
