Pakistan’s IT exports increased 18% year-on-year to $417 million in July 2026, while remaining broadly unchanged from the previous month, according to Topline Research.
On a trailing 12-month basis, IT exports reached $4.66 billion, marking a 20% year-on-year increase from $3.87 billion recorded during the corresponding period a year earlier.
Net IT exports, after accounting for imports, rose 9% year-on-year to $344 million in July. On a trailing 12-month basis, net IT exports stood at $4.01 billion.
Under the government’s Uraan Pakistan economic plan, Pakistan has set a target of $10 billion in annual IT exports by FY29, requiring an estimated compound annual growth rate of around 29.9% to achieve the goal.
