Pakistan Records $3.5bn Remittances in April 2026

The State Bank of Pakistan reported that overseas workers sent $3.5 billion in remittances during April 2026. This reflects an 11% year-on-year increase, although inflows declined by 8% compared to the previous month.

Despite monthly fluctuations, the overall trend remains positive, with total remittances rising 8.5% to $33.86 billion during July–April FY26, highlighting continued support from Pakistan’s overseas workforce for the national economy.
