Kohinoor Energy Limited (KEL) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hebei Juhang Energy Technology Group Co., Ltd. (Juhang) to explore a potential joint venture in Pakistan.
Under the MoU, the companies intend to collaborate on the assembly and manufacturing of lithium-ion battery packs, battery energy storage systems, related products, and electrical equipment.
The proposed project is expected to be developed in phases, with an initial annual production capacity of approximately 50–100 MWh. Depending on market demand and business conditions, capacity could subsequently increase to 300–500 MWh and eventually 700–1,000 MWh.
