Pakistan Current Account Deficit Falls 78% MoM in August
Pakistan’s current account deficit (CAD) fell 78% month-on-month to USD 98 million in August 2026, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
 
The decline brings the 2MFY27 current account deficit to USD 543 million, down 36% year-on-year.
