International Steels Proposes Sale of 17% Stake in Chinoy Engineering

International Steels Limited (ISL) has recommended the disposal of its entire 17% shareholding in Chinoy Engineering & Construction (Pvt.) Limited (CECL), subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
 
The company holds 4.845 million ordinary shares of CECL, each with a face value of Rs10. The proposed sale is priced at Rs72.24 per share, for a total consideration of approximately Rs350 million.
 
The recommendation was approved by ISL’s Board of Directors at its meeting held on August 19, 2026, and will be presented to shareholders for approval at the company’s 19th Annual General Meeting scheduled for October 5, 2026.
 
The formal notice of the AGM will be issued in due course, while completion of the transaction remains subject to all required regulatory approvals.
