S.G. Power Limited has officially changed its name to Crestwell Healthcare Limited after receiving approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), marking a key milestone in the company's transition into the healthcare sector.
In a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday, the company said the SECP issued the Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Company Name, effective August 6, 2026.
Following the approval, the company has applied to the PSX to update its listed name from S.G. Power Limited to Crestwell Healthcare Limited in line with regulatory requirements.
The company also stated that its previously submitted application seeking a change in its listed sector classification from Power Generation & Distribution to the Pharmaceutical sector remains under review by the PSX.
The proposed sector reclassification is part of Crestwell Healthcare's broader strategic transformation as it shifts its business focus from the power sector to healthcare.
