Pakistan, China Sign $1.4bn Investment Agreements to Strengthen Industrial Growth

Pakistan and China have strengthened their economic partnership by signing investment and business agreements worth approximately US$1.4 billion during the Pakistan-China Business Conference in Islamabad.
 
The agreements, spanning pharmaceuticals, healthcare, manufacturing, and industrial collaboration, are expected to encourage technology transfer, expand local production, attract investment, and create employment opportunities.
 
On the conference's final day, 42 agreements worth nearly US$850 million were signed, covering pharmaceuticals, medical devices, vaccine manufacturing, healthcare technology, and industrial production.
